The Legislature has approved a bill that provides a one-year reprieve from the statute of limitations for women who believe that they were made sick by silicone breast implants and want to bring suit.
The bill also gives a year's reprieve to the statute of limitations for women seeking compensation for injuries they received from using the Dalkon Shield intrauterine device.
